60657 Lofts was a visionary project that was developed based on the potential of the surrounding Roscoe Village neighborhood, which was just beginning to emerge at the time.

Originally a two-story masonry department store, RDM Development transformed the structure into a five-story building with 66 residential units and underground parking. The RDM team strived to maintain the integrity of existing building elements, while also producing a new design that catered to contemporary lifestyles. The project was completed in July of 1999 and the end result was a stunning Art Deco style building that was created using precast concrete with steel frame and masonry construction.

Completed in May 1999, 60657 Lofts became an RDM success story. The development sold out in one weekend and today has become one of the most recognized residential developments in the neighborhood.
