Deer Creek was a condominium conversion project undertaken by
RDM Development in fall 2004. The development featured 198 distinctive
condominium homes on a serene 33-acre wooded site located in Gurnee,
Illinois.
This community featured a host of resort-like amenities such
as a fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, and swimming
pool. The residential development consisted of three triple-winged
buildings of solid brick and concrete construction. The condominium
homes were offered in a variety of floor plans and were detailed
with balconies and decks that offered forest views. RDM Development
significantly improved the property by renovating the pool, fitness
center, tennis courts, locker rooms, building hallways and lobbies.
Additionally, the property received new roofing, exterior painting
and lush landscaping.
After the extensive renovations were complete and 65 sales contracts
had been secured, the entire Deer Creek project was successfully
sold to Inland Real Estate.
