The George Court II development was both a restoration and conversion
of a four-story masonry and wood frame Victorian building in the
Lakeview neighborhood.
With this project, RDM Development replaced 12 existing apartments
with nine loft style luxury condominiums. The residences feature
traditional loft details such as exposed brick, hardwood floors,
and exposed ductwork. Residents of the building also enjoy a common
roof deck with a stunning view of the Chicago skyline.
The George Court II project was completed in November of 1998.
Through extensive detailed restoration work on damaged exterior
elevations, especially the building’s bay windows, RDM Development
was able to return this gracious building to its original elegant
look.
