| LaSalle Towers
|

The conversion of LaSalle Towers, located at 1211
N. LaSalle in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood, is a notable
RDM Development success story. Well known as “The Mural
Building,” due to its striking twenty-story trompe l’oeil
murals, LaSalle Towers is a prominent fixture in the Old Town
neighborhood with proximity to both the Gold Coast and Streeterville
neighborhoods.
RDM began the conversion of the 68-unit apartment building in
November 2005. The one and two bedroom residences featured arched
doorways and high coffered ceilings, with only four residences
on each floor. RDM Development worked to bring the building to
luxury condominium standards by creating a brand new lobby and
designer corridors with new carpeting and lighting. In addition,
the 24-space parking lot was enhanced and new landscaping installed.
LaSalle Towers was completely sold out by May 2006—an impressive
six month period. Today, this notable Old Town structure continues
to enhance the neighborhood and skyline with its unique artistic
offerings, as the interior improvements assure that homeowners
will enjoy LaSalle Towers for years to come.
